Is this Haggadah “Kosher”? Has it been approved by a rabbinical authority?
The 30minute-Seder™ Haggadah has been rabbinically approved for Passover for accuracy, and spiritual and historical content.

Can I see what 30minute-Seder™ looks like before I buy it?
We insist that you do. The more you see, the more you'll like...view the entire Haggadah

Is this really a 30 minute Seder?
Yes, this Seder can be performed from start to finish in 30 minutes. It takes 30 minutes if you go straight through, and about an hour if you take your time, sing the songs, and stop for some discussion.

Does this Haggadah tell the whole story of Passover?
Yes, the 30minute-Seder™ tells the whole story of Passover, from the birth of Moses to the parting of the Red Sea.

Are enough prayers included?
Most of the traditional prayers are included and have been re-written in gender sensitive language. They are all in English; most are also in Hebrew with transliteration.

Is the 30minute-Seder™ written in the Ashkenazic or Sephardic style?
It is written in the Sephardic style; meaning words like charoset are spelled “charoset” rather than “charoses” and matzah is spelled “matzah” rather than “matzo”.

What does “matzot” mean? What does “Haggadot” mean?
Matzot is the plural form of matzah and Haggadot is the plural form of Haggadah.

On Page 8 it says Blessing Over the Wine (Kaddesh), isn't Kaddesh the Mourner's Blessing, and the Blessing Over Wine the Kiddish or Kiddush?
The short answer is:  Kaddesh is correct as it is the name of the Seder portion, not the prayer.

The complete answer is:  Kaddesh (pronounced kah-day-sh) is the name of the Seder portion. There are traditionally 15 portions to the Seder.  This is the first portion and the blessing over the first cup of wine, where we say the Kiddush.  The problem arises out of the transliteration of the Hebrew into English.  In retrospect, we could have spelled the word differently so as to avoid this confusion; but this is considered an accepted spelling and therefore technically correct.

Download Version Questions

If I download the Haggadah onto my computer, can I print copies myself?
As long as you have a printer hooked up to your computer, you can print it out.

Is the download version in color or black and white?
There are several download versions available. They are all designed to be printed either in color or black and white. You may choose as many versions as you like.

How many copies am I allowed to print off the download file?
You may print as many copies as necessary for everyone attending your Seder. Please direct those wanting copies for future Seders to www.30minuteseder.com to purchase their own download.

Can I make the printed pages into a booklet?
Yes, complete instructions are provided on the download page.

Can I bring a copy of the file to a copy shop to have them print booklets for me?
Yes, you may do that, but since the 30minute-Seder™ is 32 pages in full color, it will probably cost you less if you buy the printed version directly from us. Our professionally printed version is in a 6”x 9” format, which makes the illustrations more exciting and the text easier to read (all downloaded versions are made to print out at 8½” x 11”). You also have the option of the copy shop printing out our 8½” x 11” version in black and white, which will be more cost effective.
